UALL & SCUTREA Conference:
Sponsorship Criteria

Conference Sponsorship Criteria

UALL runs an annual conference in June, which attracts an international audience and is hosted by an institution with a national reputation in lifelong learning and adult education. The conference is run face to face with some limited online presentation opportunities for plenary speakers and international presenters who are working as part of a collaboration that is presenting at the conference.

UALL is happy to enter formal arrangements with sponsors who wish to sponsor all or part of its annual conference. The options for consideration are:

  • The full conference (including the conference dinner)
  • Attendance at the conference including a stand in the central conference space
  • Specific aspects of the conference such as the Formal Conference Dinner (Day 2), Drinks Reception (Day 1) or a theme within the conference programme linked to education/learning provision relevant to lifelong learning/adult education linked to policy, practice and research.
  • Place(s) at the conference for students or other attendees

In return for full or part sponsorship, sponsors receive:

  • Space for a stand in the central conference area for the duration of the conference.
  • Publicity through inclusion in all UALL conference promotional materials and programme.
  • Detailed conversations with the UALL Board of Trustees on potential collaborative activity/ies.
  • Access to the national institutions leading on lifelong learning/adult education in all its forms.

Criteria for selecting sponsors

Sponsors would ideally demonstrate alignment with the following:

  • Clear connection with Lifelong Learning including a good fit with UALL aims as outlined on its website About | UALL
  • The ethics and principles allied with the conference themes e.g. widening access to education, inclusivity, innovation, support for local and global lifelong learning, sustainable development and social justice.
  • A clearly evidenced positive reputation that does not risk UALL’s reputation as the lead UK professional association in higher education for lifelong learning and adult education.

If you are interested in speaking to a representative about a possible sponsorship arrangement, please contact Zulema Jimenez Perez, the UALL Administrator, who will arrange a meeting with you and either the UALL Chair or Secretary.

Note: whilst sponsorship offers opportunities to raise brand awareness it does not provide input into the conference structure or content or any formal material gains.
