Announcing SCUTREA Roundtable Event
Join us for a SCUTREA Roundtable Event at the 2025 Conference
We are excited to announce the upcoming UALL/SCUTREA conference, taking place from June 16th to 18th, 2025 at the University of Liverpool. This event, co-hosted by the Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL) and the Standing Committee on University Teaching and Research in the Education of Adults (SCUTREA), promises to be an enriching experience for educators, researchers and practitioners interested in the field of adult education. The conference will focus on the theme “Sustainable, Equitable, and Future-Facing Universities,” emphasising the pivotal role of lifelong learning in addressing contemporary challenges.
One of our featured sessions, “SCUTREA in Adult Education: Reflections, Directions, and Collaborative Futures,” aims to engage participants in dynamic discussions about SCUTREA’s ongoing contributions to adult education research. This roundtable session will feature insights from prominent figures in the field and will explore the importance of incorporating diverse voices into our educational practices. We encourage conference attendees to participate and collaborate in this session. You will have the opportunity to engage with our community, learn of our archival resources, and contribute to shaping future imaginings of SCUTREA in the adult education landscape.
Five key adult educators and scholars will be on the panel:
